Water at 125°F/52°C..............1500 ml
 Metol...................................10.0 g
 Sodium Sulfite..........................80.0 g
 Hydroquinone............................12.0 g
 Sodium Carbonate (anhydrous)............48.0 g
 Potassium Bromide........................4.0 g
 Water to make...........................2000 ml

Add a pinch of sulfite before adding the metol.

If Sodium Carbonate monohydrate is used the quantity required is 80 g.

Use undiluted with a development time of 2 minutes.
Longer development times are purported to increase contrast further – untested as yet.
