St Peter-on-the-Wall, Bradwell (redux)
A different viewpoint on the church shown in this post.
This print is made by contact printing a digital negative created from an original digital file. The colour and tonality of this lith image resulted from leaving the used LD-20 developer for several hours until it had oxidised to the point of uselessness. I then added some diluted Ansco 70 developer to the tray, heated it to 30°C. This was the totally unexpected and colourful result after a development time of around 10 minutes.
Such is the wonder and serendipity of the lith process that you can never be sure what you will get. I doubt this particular effect could ever be repeated.
